GMO Foods and Your Digestive Tract

Dr. Karlo Mauro, N.D.

What would you say if I told you that you're probably eating insecticides every day?

And I don't mean insecticides that were sprayed on your food.

I'll explain in a minute...

Today, I want to talk to you about a subject that may be related to your constipation. It's certainly affecting your overall health and well-being.

Agriculture has entered unknown and dangerous territory. The changes have been dramatic -- yet most of it happened without anybody noticing. Government regulatory bodies let this slip right under our noses.

Let me start with a specific example...

Today, most corn grown in the United States and Canada comes from seeds produced by a company you may have heard of -- Monsanto. These seeds aren't your grandfather's corn.

They have cleverly figured out how to make insecticides part of the DNA structure of corn. So instead of spraying the crop, the poisons are already part of its genetic makeup.

For the past few DECADES raw ingredients (grains, fruits, vegetables, oils, etc.) at our grocery stores have been replaced by new life forms...

Genetically Modified Organisms

GMO seeds produce crops faster, cheaper and at higher yields.

What's more, they are not considered "food." That way companies like Monsanto can put patents on the seeds.

That may not sound like a big deal until you take into account that Monsanto sells STERILE seeds. Yes, that's right. You plant them. You grow them. But you can't harvest seeds for next year's crop. You have to go back to Monsanto.

Many scientists are predicting this could spell widespread famine. Especially if the seeds find their way into third world countries.

I think the scientists who originally started genetically tampering with our produce had good intentions. They wanted to find a way to more cost-effectively grow crops. The more we can grow, with less effort, the less food will cost and the more people can be fed.

But There Are Consequences to These Shortcuts

What type of consequences? Well, that's still up for debate. Why? Because VERY LITTLE testing has been done on genetically modified foods.

Correction. A BIG test is currently going on. With you. With me. With our children. Skip the lab rats, let's just feed it to the public!

The Japanese, who have banned GMO foods in their country, are keenly watching our children for the next decade. They want to see what GMO food does to them.

The list of possible side-effects is endless.

But, I wanted to bring this to your attention as GMO food could very likely be contributing to your constipation, bloating and other digestive tract upsets.

In another article, I'll fill you in on how you can avoid GMO altogether, or at least the major culprits.

I'm trying to cover all angles, so that we can get you bowels healthy as soon as possible.

Yours in Natural Health,
