I'm going to answer the question I hear most from my patients and readers... "EXACTLY WHAT do I eat to rid myself of constipation so I can have more regular bowel movements?" Most people who are constipated get frustrated. You go to your medical doctor hoping for some advice but instead, get the same old boring recommendations you've known for years... "Increase your fiber… eat lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains and bran cereals… and don't forget to drink a lot of water too." Probably not new advice for you. If you're lucky, your doctor might even give you a list of high fiber foods. This list may motivate you until you get home. And you stick it on the fridge. And each morning you wake up and find yourself before a list of foods. You have 30 minutes to get in the car and get to work. Now, the list of high fiber foods -- fruits, vegetables and grains suddenly seems like a NASA printout. "So," you wonder, "what in the world do I eat for breakfast?" If you're a great cook, the list of high fiber foods is probably child's play. But if the kitchen intimidates you — like many of us — than you need more than your high fiber food list. You Need A Customized Recipe Book A recipe book that ONLY includes the healing foods specific for your digestive tract. Five years ago, I developed an ebook called 37 Constipation Relief Strategies for Women which has helped thousands of women across the globe get their bowels more regular. The tips and strategies are so simple yet extremely effective. And most of the 37 strategies don't even involve any foods at all. Since then, I've been asked by my readers for simple yet tasty recipes that'll help their bowel movements. You'll be happy to know that Constipation Relief Recipes is finally available. My new Constipation Relief Recipes are here to make your digestive tract healthier while making your life simpler. I'll show you exactly what you need to eat to have a healthier gastrointestinal tract and stay that way… and I'm going to show you how to pull it off too. In my clinic, I use a Food Pharmacy computer program (which cost me over $1,000) in which I check off various vitamins, minerals and nutrients that support the digestive tract. This sophisticated program cross references all known food related information regarding gastrointestinal tract health. The result? A printed list of all the food groups separated into three categories: • Foods that inhibit your body's ability to balance and heal its gastrointestinal tract (that need to be avoided 90% of the time). No diet book can compete. This is like getting your own customized diet book — simplified down to a piece of paper. You'll know exactly what foods are like MEDICINE for your gastrointestinal tract (hence Food PHARMACY versus DRUG pharmacy). You'll like it a lot. But you'll be even more thrilled with what I did with that list of foods. I took the Food Pharmacy food list and from it came up with... 123 Anti-Constipating, Bowel-Regulating Recipes I've essentially created your very own recipe book not only suited to my naturopathic food prescriptions for constipation but also to your level of SKILL in the kitchen. If the highlight of your cooking career has been mac & cheese then you can follow the easier recipes which are quite simple. If someone with more experience cooks for you, or you're pretty skilled in the kitchen, then I have some more advanced recipes for you. Your gastrointestinal problems are unique and you can't just rely on any recipe book off the shelf. They may have great stuff, but you need to play a bit of menu roulette in order to figure out what works for you. And maybe you figure out a few good meals, but then end up eating them too often. I see this all the time when I look at my constipated patients' weekly diet diaries. Same thing for breakfast and lunch, every day. For example, most constipated people eat oatmeal or bran cereal every day because it helps their bowel movements. Be aware: if you eat oatmeal or bran cereal every morning for breakfast you're going to develop an allergy and/or intolerance to it. It may take months to develop... but eventually your body's not going to be happy with you. Since you've read this far, I assume you want to get a copy of Constipation Relief Recipes. It could be life-changing to you. If you haven't been following a diet suited to your bowel health... and haven't been getting any better, then this could be exactly what you need to regulate your bowels, boost your energy, shed some pounds and relieve your bloating & gas. I wish I could sell healthy eating in a bottle. Pop a pill and get everything you need. Sadly, nature didn't make us that way. But if you have SIMPLE recipes to follow, which include foods that you ENJOY and don't upset your stomach... well, eating wouldn't really be all that bad, would it? So here's what I've done for you... • Reviewed all the foods from my Food Pharmacy program food list (which is included in my recipe guide). The most incredible thing out of all of this is how much I'm charging to provide you with all these bowel regulating recipes. If I were to sit down with you in my office, one-on-one and go through all 123 recipes, it would cost you well over $800 in visit fees. Fortunately, you won't have to pay anywhere close to $800. In fact, you won't even pay $50. The regular price for Dr. Mauro's Constipation Relief Recipes is $27. Otherwise, you can order the recipes separately right here and pay the regular price of $27. I haven't met a person yet who didn't benefit from the recipes in my guide. Eating meals rich in fiber is simple… if you know exactly what to eat. In fact, there's no simpler and more affordable way I know for you to help become more regular. Yours in Natural Health, Dr. Karlo Mauro, BSc, BA, MSEd, ND |
In 1992 Dr. Mauro began training in the martial art of Aikido Yoshinkai. In 2003, he earned a 3rd degree black belt. It was Aikido that originally opened his eyes to living a more natural lifestyle -- staying more balanced physically and mentally. In 1995, he began receiving help from a Naturopathic Doctor for some digestive trouble he was experiencing. This first introduction to natural medicine resulted in him meeting other Naturopathic Doctors and finally making a life-changing decision. Despite the fact he had just completed 6 years of university, including a Masters degree in Education, Dr. Mauro abandoned his teaching career, entered Naturopathic College, emerging four years later an ND. Dr. Mauro lives in Windsor, Ontario with his wife Natalia, son Alek and daughter Ella. When he's not at the clinic, he's either watching Alek play golf, watching Ella in gymnastics class or coaching Alek's soccer team.Though he's helped patients with a wide variety of disorders, he's found the most success helping people with gut trouble. "I like the fact it's so easy to see an improvement," he says. "If you're constipated, only going once a week, and you start going everyday, you KNOW you're getting better."
Sometimes, even if you are going once a day, it's difficult because your stools are too hard and dry.
One of the problems with laxatives is that they don't produce this banana-like quality. Instead they bring on diarrhea. Diarrhea is dehydrating and depleting of valuable nutrients (such as potassium and sodium). Dr. Mauro's 7-part email series and his collection of 37 Constipation Relief Strategies for Women help produce this ideal consistency because they help you retrain your bowels to work properly. When your colon is in good health, it will naturally make sure your stools are neither too dry nor too hard.
It's no wonder," says Dr. Mauro, "that so many women suffer eating disorders. If you're not evacuating, it's hard to make room for more food. If waste can't find its way down and out, it's going to make your stomach bulge outward and upward. In fact, your colon can expand three times its regular size (along with your stomach). The secret to a normal appetite is making sure you are emptying your bowels every 24 hours." You should have no problem achieving one or two bowel movements a day, if you make the simple changes outlined in 37 Constipation Relief Strategies for Women. This should happen in less than 30 days of using these strategies.
Many women experience breakthrough bleeding, decreased appetite, depression, headaches, low libido, urinary tract infection, skin problems, gum inflammation. They also have an increased risk of contracting viral diseases. Considering all the risks, is this really a good way to "balance your hormones?" Especially when natural methods may produce far superior (and economical) results... Oftentimes hormonal imbalance is caused by a high consumption of white flour and sugary foods. These same foods turn into a glue-like substance that further clogs up your bowels. By following the natural remedies and lifestyle changes in 37 Constipation Relief Strategies for Women, you'll be helping to bring your hormones into balance, naturally. Likewise, getting your bowels moving will stop toxins from backing up into your bloodstream, which will further knock your hormones out of whack. "It is estimated that there are 36 different poisons that come from the colon, and as these accumulate in the bowel over a period of weeks, months or often years, they spread into your liver, gallbladder and other organs; into your blood; into your tissues and finally into your cells." -- Women's Menopause Health Newsletter, October 2007
Senna is one of the few herbs medical doctors prescribe. Unfortunately, it's harmful to use on a daily basis. Once a week as part of a colon cleanse is okay, but more frequently is impairing. The effects of senna can be fairly drastic," explains Dr. Mauro. "They tend to flush out too much of the healthy bacteria. It's like having diarrhea. It's dehydrating and depleting of your electrolytes (potassium and sodium)." I don't know about you but I don't want to be dependent on an herb to make me go. Worse still, you have little control over your bowel movements. You go when the herb is ready to make you go. There's not much warning. That's fine if you're 80 and don't leave home. That's not great when you're on your way to soccer practice to pick up the kids. Senna is also dangerous for people with high blood pressure, kidney problems or edema. Healing and strengthening your colon so it can function on its own, as described in 37 Constipation Relief Strategies For Women, is the way to go.
As you can see, there's a lot of money in keeping people constipated and reliant on laxatives. No wonder Dr. Mauro's 37 Constipation Relief Strategies are not more well known. Digestive disorders account for the largest amount of lost time from work; they are the number one cause of disability absence; they comprise one-sixth of all hospital admissions. It is acknowledged by conventional medicine that at least 40 percent of all cancers originate in the gastrointestinal tract. Many alternative practitioners would say the number is much higher." — Women's Menopause Health Center Newsletter , October 2007
— Martin Zucker, "[Toxic waste that built up in the colon turns into] a sinister world of monstrous creatures that feed on living flesh: parasites..." "In fact, parasites have killed more humans than all the wars in history." Find out how to kick parasites out of your colon in Strategy 33, on page 35, of 37 Constipation Relief Strategies For Women.
